Position Profile: This position is responsible for providing an interface between customers, field sales, and in-house personnel; for performing various sales and marketing activities; and for coordinating internal proceedings within Titanium Mill Products to maintain and/or enhance customer relations.
Essential Functions: 
  • Communicates with regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or discuss business, technical, and contractual delivery concerns.  This could be by telephone, written correspondence, or visitation (to and/or by).
  • Acts as customer intermediary with internal team members to ensure that specifications and critical delivery commitments are met and to follow up on customer issues.
  • Participates in business plan preparation.  Assists in formulating budgets and long-range plans.  Forecasts anticipated sales monthly.  Monitors and analyzes performance.  Takes actions, as required, to maintain and improve results.  Participates in various meetings, such as project status, cost reduction programs, etc.
  • Manage day-to-day activities and execution of our customer connection – follow established contract review procedures and provide accurate quoting, order entry, status, shipments, returns, credits; customer portals; being proactive when dealing with the customer and heading off issues before they arise; asking for orders; thanking the customer for their business.  Meeting order entry, quoting and status response time objectives. Support Quote Team
  • Expedites Accounts Receivables.
  • Understand AES strategic initiatives and influence customer behavior – NPS scores, gain market share, competitive pricing and market intelligence.  Provide feedback to commercial and marketing teams.
  • Act as a customer advocate – present data and make recommendations as to course of action to business leaders and act within defined decision-making authority to drive Ease Of Doing Business with AES.  Ability to reach across departmental boundaries to satisfy customer inquiries. The Sr. Inside Sales Representative is accountable to manage issues outside the traditional bounds of responsibility when required to satisfy a customer or business objective.
  • Turn Quotes into Orders (Capture Business) – substantial focus on capturing business with our customers; if not obtained, what was the competitive situation and why business wasn’t captured by Arconic.  Specific weekly and monthly targets must be achieved. Provide feedback to commercial and marketing teams.
  • Post Order Management – manage unadjusted items, process claims and negotiate settlements.  Meet unadjusted items objectives.
  • Drive AES strategic initiatives and influence customer behavior - NPS scores, gain market share, competitive pricing and market intelligence.
  • Ability to work in tactical administrative team environment from focused problem solving to customer care and support throughout any given day – admin activities to problems solving/decision making (both ends of the spectrum).

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years' work experience in sales, account management, customer service and/or manufacturing;
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Economics, Supply Chain, Business, Communication from an accredited institution.
  • Strong experience with analytical skills, proficient in MS EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT, positive/can do attitude, ability to influence, tenacity, strong problem-solving skills, work with a sense of purpose and energy.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle or other MRP system.
  • Experience managing accounts and working with clients/customers.
  • Experience in heavy manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
  • Experience in Metals industry.
  • Ability to work overtime during peak business periods.
