Arconic is looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager, Accessories to join our Arconic Wheel and Transportation Products (AWTP) business unit in Cleveland, OH.

Job Description:
Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, NA, this position is accountable for the North American Wheel Accessories P&L, including:
•       Developing and executing an approved sales and marketing plan for a portfolio of wheel accessories that will achieve or exceed unit, revenue, margin, and EBITDA plan in a manner consistent with Arconic policies and business practices.  
•       Develop an accessories portfolio that will drive sales growth.
•       Understand market and customer needs.  Gather market and competitive information.  Understand customer pain points and identify opportunities.  Carry out market research to gain feedback on new products, areas of improvement and issues with current products.
•       Leverage Alcoa Wheels Brand strength with the approved Alcoa logo on all products when possible
•       Work with engineering, marketing, purchasing, supply chain and the supplier to launch new or improved offerings and discontinue ineffective products.  Act as program manager for all changes.
•       Work with purchasing and engineering and quality to identify, qualify and select suppliers
•       Work with marketing to establish pricing and adjust as necessary
•       Work with marketing to insure proper packaging, brochures and catalogs are maintained and updated as needed
•       Manage product flow with purchasing, supply chain and customer service to insure adequate supply to meet anticipated orders
•       Product expertise – be the single source for product knowledge
•       Offer advice, support and solutions to customers and the Alcoa Wheels sales team
•       Advise on appropriate products, tools, use and maintenance practices to end-users, dealers, distributors and the Alcoa Wheels sales team
•       Work with the Arconic Wheels sales team to identify opportunities and drive accessories sales growth.  Includes but is not limited to joint sales calls and trade show support.
•       Work with marketing to develop and execute an appropriate and effective promotional program that drives sales growth.
•       Develop and maintain relationships with key wholesale and retail partners.
•       Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers including providing forecasts and managing new product development
•       Prepare monthly management reports to highlight results and key activity, review projects and discuss strategy and action plans.
•       Building a strong working relationship with key functional groups within AWTP, including; sales, marketing, customer service, supply chain, purchasing, engineering and quality.
•       Adhering to a high standard of Sales Excellence.  This includes full utilization of the Counselor Sales Process, effective sales call pattern with the necessary preparation/follow up, and participation in industry/customer events.  This also includes representing Arconic well in any interfacing with customers or industry personnel as well as being current on events that affect Arconic, customers, and the industry.
•       Effectively utilizing tools available to assist with business and customer relationship management:
•       CRM (Salesforce.com) to record appropriate customer interfaces and track and report results through effective dashboards
•       Adhering to administrative guidelines (ie. staying with T&E budget, submitting expense reports in a timely manner, etc.)
•       Supporting the development and implementation of key initiatives as directed.
•       Participating in global efforts to align our accessories offering where appropriate.
 
This position is a key part of our NA Wheel and Transportation Products Business that has plans to grow at a minimum of 2 times the market rate each year.  This position will operate in a team environment and coordinate with the other NA Sales and Marketing Managers.
•       This position reports to the Marketing Manager, AWTP, NA.
•       Internal contacts include business unit leadership, Arconic sales managers, inside sales, marketing, customer service, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
•       Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
•       Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
•       Incumbent must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
•       Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
•       This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.  ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
•       Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or engineering
•       Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
•       The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop excellent commercial, product management, marketing and customer relations skills as these will be key to success in this assignment. Critical thinking, strong analytical skills, and the natural urge to continuously challenge him/her self and the organization to improve performance are must-haves.
