Arconic Fastening Systems (AFS) is seeking a Sales Analyst to assist in preparing sales reports, analyzing market data and work with location management to analyze bookings, quotes and assists in developing sales forecasts.  This position is located at the AFS aerospace distribution facility in Simi Valley, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and reviews daily/weekly/monthly reports such as booking, sales, quotes, customer activity.
  • Conducts market research on aerospace programs such as military, commercial and engine programs.
  • Work with sales and customers on a regular basis to gather market information such as: forecasts, business conditions, programs and build rates.
  • Uses sales data and market trends to develop forecasts and projections.
  • Improve sales efficiency and capture market and competitive intelligence.
  • Monitor contracts with customers
  • Pricing analysis based on historical quote data and available market pricing. 
  • Develop methodologies and processes to manage inventory, with customer demand to maintain and improve on time delivery performance.
  • Analyze sales profitability by product, part and program to identify trends, opportunities and drive sales growth. 
  • Works with Sales Management to provide revenue forecast for customers
  • Prepares and analyzes data for Business and Monthly Reviews
  • Analyzes quotations; prepares, reviews and edits purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completion; expedites deliveries.
  • Enters purchase orders (both original entry and changes) into database (COP, ManMan and Oracle) using Autoload process or manually, as required; edits accuracy of input data.
  • Follows up with vendors to ensure delivery dates are met; reschedules open items as necessary and performs follow up on the reschedules.


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum 1 year related experience.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
