Job Description

Quality Tech II
 
Essential Functions:
 
Responsible for performing laboratory tests, dimensional inspections, gage calibrations or non-destructive tests.  Must be able to work closely with individuals to support production and quality teams.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Maintain procedures and specifications to comply with applicable company and customer requirements.
  • Maintain laboratory, inspection or calibration records.
  • Perform all required inspections, tests or calibrations in a timely manner.
  • Communicate results with organization.
  • Order supplies as required.
  • Investigate opportunities to eliminate waste and improve inspection, test or calibration techniques.
  • Assist engineering and production in problem solving activities.
  • Enter data in the network & information data systems and generate test reports.
  • Performs other tasks as needed in support of quality and customer needs.
  • Use SPC tools as required for assigned duties and analyze data trends.
  • Assist with internal audit activities.
  • Maintain gage recall system.
  • Work in a safe manner that promotes the health and well-being of the individual and the environment.
  • Comply with all EHS rules and regulations and supervisory instructions.
  • Report all incidents including injuries, spills, fires, property damage, and near misses to their supervisor.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years related quality assurance, experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Must pass required applicable certification tests.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
