The Quality Engineer position will be in our Plant 3 facility. 
This position is responsible for the qualification of new part numbers and subsequent tooling / significant process changes as they relate / apply to casting components.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Developing qualification requirements and obtaining customer concurrence to proposed requirements.
  • Communicate / interpret the qualification requirements to the Product / Process Engineering resources.
  • Support the data collection activities.
  • Provide data summation and analysis.
  • Identify gaps and support issue resolution.
  • Assembling the qualification package including summary of deviations.
  • Assuring results conform to customer requirements.
  • Communicate results to the customer and obtain their approvals.
  • Provide technical support for the Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Layout Departments.
  • Be a liaison between Whitehall Casting and the customer as it relates to qualification requirements.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a quality engineering environment.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee. 
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications.
  • Understanding of metrology tools and techniques /  methods. 
  • Basic understanding of statistics / statistical analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • One year of experience in a metrology lab.
  • Proficient in UG, AutoCad, GOM softwares.
