Arconic Fastening Systems (AFS) is seeking a Product Analyst at our aerospace manufacturing facility in the Fullerton, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for contract database is current and provide monthly reports summarizing market/margin opportunities.
  • Extract and prepare data from multiple databases to support contract and customer evaluations;
  • Generate and analyze Key Performance Indicators, inventory, and shipping/financial data;
  • Prepare and analyze data for Business and Monthly Reviews;
  • Improve processes for generating and managing complex models, financial data, and reports;
  • Enhance quality of planning tools to improve inventory control and turns.;
  • Propose methodologies, tools, and processes to manage new projects, i.e.: JIT, Inventory Management, and other logistic/ Supply Chain programs;
  • Facilitates production planning, being the liaison between the customer and manufacturing.
  • Interact with Manufacturing, Engineering, IT and Finance personnel in performing daily duties.
  • Interfaces with customer business teams, service, finance and manufacturing for most effective and profitable marketing of new product.
  • Interfaces with customer business team and performs back up duties.
  • Interfaces with Import / Export personnel.
  •  Oversees the location’s compliance with U.S. and foreign import and export regulations-including ITAR, Ear, OFAC, FTSR and other regulatory agencies.
  •  Works with Procurement to ensure country of origin, HTS, INCO term and other relevant import information is included on packing list / commercial invoice.
  •  Assist with development / implementation of import / export compliance procedures.
  • Generate training materials and provide training to employees that are directly or indirectly involved in the importation and export of products, materials, tooling, and equipment.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications


  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution;
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a Product Analyst;
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math or Business.
  • Two (2) years working with IMEX requirements;
  • Aerospace fasteners experience
