Job Description

Arconic Cleveland Operations, a forging facility located at 1600 Harvard Ave., is seeking qualified applicants for a Power House Engineer role. The Power House Engineer position is an hourly role and employees are represented by a union.

Role responsibilities include but are not limited to the following tasks:
  • Operate, tend, repair, and maintain all boiler house and compressor house equipment used to generate and meter steam and compressed air.
  • Install, operate, inspect, repair, maintain, test and adjust air conditioning, refrigerating, heating and ventilating equipment and controls.

Employees may be assigned to any shift and must be able to work all days of the week.

*All candidates are required to complete a post-offer background check, physical, and drug screen.


Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution. 
Must hold a minimum 3rd class state stationary engineer's license. 
Must have a universal refrigeration certificate. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
