Job Description

Job Summary
To build a ceramic mold around a completed wax assembly and to remove the wax once the mold is complete.
Essential functions:
Follow safety requirements.
Operate and maintain slurry mixing equipment, slurry pots, robots, pumps, hoist, hand grinders, boileraclaves, furnaces, furnace controllers and air spray gun.
Prepare and setup molds for dipping or dewax processing.
Read and operate measuring equipment and gauges. Including gram scale, and pycnometer
Measure, mix, add, apply, empty, and dispose slurry ingredients and process materials.
Inspect, document, disposition and rework molds for damage and process deviations.
Determine order of work and need to perform work based on work rules, priority lists, time calculations, observations and supervision instructions.
Mixes various powders and water according to specified formulas.
Measures slurries for viscosity and plate weight data.
Ability to read and follow the information on work instructions.
Record data either manually or by computer as required.


Basic requirements
high school diploma or a general education degree (GED).
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
