This opening will fill a key role in the Arconic Engines marketing organization and be responsible for supporting BU marketing activity for the aero engine rings business; inclusive of all five plant operations.  The contributions from this role aide and advise the commercial leadership team in setting strategic direction to meet commercial goals. This highly motivated individual will also be fully integrated into the daily management of commercial performance, and lead day-to-day execution of commercial policy.
 
This position will be based in Whitehall, MI.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Support financial and business case modeling contracts and high value proposals
  • Lead weekly sales call for non-LTA (long term contract) business
  • Develops and maintains weekly metrics for non-LTA business
  • Assist with reviewing Non-LTA quote policy and driving incremental margin
  • Work closely with Central Estimating and Commercial Teams for ad hoc reports and analysis
  • Support the Commercial Team with annual LTA pricelist updates
  • Active participant in Non-LTA, strategic, and high value quote preparation, analysis and review
  • Help to analyze and facilitate universal commercial strategy between Rings five operating sites
  • Assist Plant Commercial Teams with achieving infill goals
  • Ability to work with and summarize complex / large data sets
  • Maintains broad understanding of Aerospace market drivers and build rate profiles
  • Maintain plant historical cost data
  • Provide customer analysis and summaries to Commercial Team
  • Develop monthly commercial reports / metrics to present to Commercial Team


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of three years sales/marketing experience
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. %22Green Card Holder%22), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working large data sets in Excel
