Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician will work in a multitasking role with other maintenance mechanics and electricians to complete any given task within the confines of the individuals’ knowledge, experience and safety limitations at Pimalco Operations.
  • Perform maintenance activities on all equipment within the plant.  This includes but is not limited to preventive and predictive maintenance as well as performing breakdown repairs. 
  • Minimize equipment down time and perform small project activities. 
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures. 
  • Work with others in a team environment and with minimum supervision
  • Troubleshoot and program equipment with Allen Bradley PLC’s
  • Install and troubleshoot Allen Bradley frequency drives
  • Own a full assortment of hand tools both metric and standard
  • Repair equipment with minimal documentation
  • Operate mobile equipment such as fork trucks, JLGs and scissor lifts.
  • Maintain a mobile equipment certification as defined by Pimalco.
  • Demonstrate good housekeeping skills.
  • Display good writing skills to keep daily work log book that others can follow
  • Work in a safety conscious environment
  • Recognize that accident prevention is equal in importance to production, quality, delivery and cost control, and accepts the responsibility to work safely and promote safety consciousness among fellow employees.


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • 3 years of experience working as an industrial electrician in a heavy manufacturing environment.  
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S> person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S> Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong trouble shooting skills both electrical and mechanical
  • Multi-skilled maintenance technician – an industrial electrician with strong mechanical skill sets.
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code
  • Proficient and experienced with high voltage equipment
  • Knowledge of instrumentation, including tuning, calibration and trouble shooting
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Proficient at welding and burning
  • Proficient with alignments of all type of equipment
  • Familiar with NFPA 54 Combustion Standard and natural gas oven control systems
  • Ability to read electrical/mechanical prints
