Arconic Fastening Systems (AFS) is seeking a Maintenance II Operator for our Maintenance department for our Sylmar, CA location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Must have good communication skills & know basic shop math
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment                                               
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, policies and procedure in English                        
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as required                                                        
  • Able to lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly              
  • Able to follow and carryout instructions
  • Ability Perform Lock Out / Tag Out (when applicable)
  • Ability to be certified to operate Mobile Equipment
  • Possess the knowledge of basic shop and/or maintenance tools 
  • Ability to do gauging and measuring  
  • Knowledge of basic machine mechanics


Basic Qualifications:
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous maintenance experience in Manufacturing Aerospace Industry preferred
