Position Summary: Reporting directlyto the Human Resources Manager, the HR Administrator provides administrativesupport in the HR Department in the areas of office administration and recruitment& selection.  This position is highlyadministrative.
Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
  • Organize the HR storage rooms for audit preparationpurposes and filing of documents as necessary.
  • Orders office supplies and ensures a sufficient levelof necessary office supplies for employees.
  • Answers the main external Kawneer telephone line,re-directing calls to appropriate employees and managers, and taking informationdown when appropriate.
  • Update switchboard names and numbers of all telephonesat the Kawneer Lethbridge facility; re-records greetings as necessary.
  • Run HR reports for the department as appropriate.
  • Attend various meetings and take notes when needed.
  • Organize the Office Supply Room.
  • Distributes mail to respective employees.
  • Tracks all leaves and update for manpower purposes,including LTD, STD, etc.
  • Recruitment calendar and recruitment metrics tool.
  • Responsible for probation evaluation, implementation,and tracking.
  • Other duties as assigned.
