How your typical day would go:
  • Participate in the process development, deployment and implementation of hardware and software requests for Arconic customers globally;
  • Understand and direct others in supporting the requests of customers and apply Howmet’s standards and procedures.
  • Work alone or as part of a team to procure hardware and/or software licenses for internal customers that meet the needs of the customer. This is to be accomplished by working with external vendors and utilizing toolsets currently in place
  • Enter asset or software license data into a predefined system ensuring data accuracy and process compliance.
  • Keep track of received data and source documents.
  • Contact preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
  • Contribute to a team effort and accomplish related results are required.
  • Execute and maintain hardware asset and software license information within our identified tracking system in direct support of hardware and software inventory, renewals and acquisition.
  • Assist in the development of reporting and process improvement to address management requirements for information access.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Communicate with end-users, management, team members, peers, and suppliers as required.
  • Respond to requests from your manager, and team members for specific hardware and software asset information.
  • Carry out multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Manage the Service Level Agreement (SLA) process in assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

  • Software acquisition skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel and Access
  • Conceptual knowledge of Information Services/Technology
  • Knowledge in BMC Remedy or Servicenow a plus
