The Engineering Manager, located in the Titanium Casting (Ti-Cast) Operation in Whitehall, MI, will be responsible for:
  • Directing all Process and Product Engineering activities and supervising an engineering/technical team of 10 – 15 professionals. 
  • Participating in the conception, evaluation and implementation of cost improvement, process and product improvement, and production problem-solving activities. 
  • Daily motivation and development of engineering staff. 
  • Coordinating with Manufacturing to ensure customer specifications are met. 
  • Regular customer interaction to align departmental activities with customer needs. 
  • Overseeing project management of new part introductions. 
  • Assisting on sales quotations through the development of cost models and estimates


Basic Qualifications :
  • BS Degree in Material Science, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 5+ years of engineering experience in the casting industry.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
Preferred Qualifications :
  • BS in Materials, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Metallurgical Engineering
  • 3+ years supervisory experience.
  • Good understanding of financial data.
  • Competent working knowledge of investment casting process, customer specifications and quality systems.
  • Must have interpersonal, project management, basic computer, effective communication, problem-solving, leadership and analytical skills.
