Job Summary
Collects and prepares related data and provides support to engineering, manufacturing, quality, or production control by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
Follow Arconic’s Safety Regulations and work Rules Handbook along with all department specific safety requirements.
Ensures conformance to internal documentation and customer requirements (work instructions, activity instructions, quality procedures and QAS).
Must assist Engineering and Quality in the development of manufacturing processing techniques.
Must develop, improve, and clarify written procedures (i.e. Work Instructions, Activity Instructions, Safety Procedures)
Evaluates products to determine whether requirements, tests and inspections have been performed in accordance with customer specifications).
Must utilize Human Performance Tools to improve EHS standards, compliance, and product Quality.
Must work proactively with Engineering and Quality personnel to ensure product compliance to customer specifications and internal requirements.
Prepares graphs, charts, or data by entering analysis data into computer systems (includes scrap reports and rework analysis).
Ensures released produce meets customer specifications as applicable obtaining customer self- release.
Must work with Engineering and Quality with data management, project management, documentation, process and equipment control
Interactive partner with manufacturing.
Must comply with all company attendance policies and guidelines; this includes, but is not limited to, regular attendance and occasional overtime.
Other duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications
This position requires a minimum of an AAS or BS in Engineering, Metallurgy, Statistics, Physics, Math, Chemistry, Biology, Automation, Lean Manufacturing is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. NDI (gauging, x-ray, FPI), ceramic/shell processing, metrology experience where applicable.
Preferred Equipment Used:
  1. Dimensional inspection:  scales, wall gauges, micrometers and other measuring instruments.
  2. Data input:  standard office equipment including computer software.
  3. Hand held tools used in the manufacturing of casting, wax-hot knives, forming tools, monoshell – air chisels, dremel tools, post-cast dremel tools.  Laboratory equipment, microscopes, cut-off saws and polishing media
  Additional requirements
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
