Job Description

Summary:
The Director of Risk Management will lead Kawneer North Americas’ efforts in tracking, managing and resolving complex field and litigation cases. Position is responsible for the leadership of both the Field Engineering and Customer Training teams with the goal of driving standardization and market leading services to influencers and customers.
 
Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Lead Kawneer’s Risk Management activities which has responsibility for Field Engineering and Customer Training departments
  • Kawneer’s subject matter expert with product and product installation.
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful resolution in complex litigation cases.
  • Represent Arconic and Kawneer publicly in matters pertaining to Kawneer products and their installation.
  • Consult with BCS executives on product innovation opportunities that come to business through internal and external channels.
  • Analyze field related feedback and work closely with New Product Development and Manufacturing to identify opportunities in product quality and product enhancements.
  • Develop processes to streamline and standardize approach to Kawneer’s Field Engineering and Training teams.
  • Travel required and estimated at 30-40%
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 10+ years’ experience with aluminum architectural façade systems
  • In-depth understanding of the Kawneer products and significant experience with their installation
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams and proven ability to lead in a matrix environment
  • Expertise in presenting to and communicating with customers, owners, company executives and legal community
  • Thorough understanding of Kawneer’s manufacturing processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and organizational abilities.
  • Analytical skills
  • PC-based experience (Microsoft Office) essential
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
