We are seeking highly motivated and energetic students to join our team as Environmental Health & Safety Engineering interns. Why join us? Your education is just beginning! Interns are assigned projects based on their business unit specifications which will vary depending on location. Some of the highlights as a member of the team are business insights sessions with the Senior Leadership team across the organization, professional development opportunities, and plant tours, and social activities with other interns and colleagues. With over 50 locations across the US, there are opportunities to work in a variety places around the country. Basic Qualifications

Assist locations with deployment of EHS programs. Primary focus on Ring locations. Assignments would include: preparing safe work instructions, revising LOTO Procedures, creating environmental tasks in HIS task management system, conducting PPE assessments, establishing MSDS inventories and labeling systems, conduct prejob briefs, contractor observations, storm water inspections and waste area inspections. Would also investigate and prepare one project suited to the candidate’s background but could include: best practice guarding for a particular Ring process, PPE Matix for Rings, assessing Legionella risk and preparing a program at one location, conducting qualitative IH assessments at a Ring location.

Requirements;

  1. Must EHS background
  2. Must be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  3. Must be able to read, write, and understand English
  4. Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree program in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
  5. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  6. Relevant internship/work/research experience
NOTE- Because of International Traffic In Arms Regulation (ITAR), employees/interns must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
